This is a print from the famous painter Craig Bone. He painted the original in 1980, and made 5000 prints subsequently. This one for sale is number 840. It shows a stick of Fire Force soldiers checking out a kraal. Looks like as the NCO is on the radio a Allouette helicopter is taking off. In the distance a Para dak is offloading there stick of Paras, and a G car is circling above. A good subject that opitimised the then Rhodesian Bush War. These prints are getting harder to get with time and this one though a bit dirty around the white border is not torn anywhere. The sky in this print also has some white and dark marks and spots, but could be touched up to look like new by a proffesional. This is not block mounted so postage would be easier as it will come in a protective tube. The print is in size 39cm by 58cm.
