This buckle is in white metal like the one in Owens book number 2597 but not as said in Brass. This would have been worn by the general service personal, before UDI. The female part has the Latin DIEU ET MON DROIT. On the male side has a Queens crown with a Lion standing on top of it. The condition is fair there are many pitted marks. There are no makers marks on the back.
