This carved figurine out of a soft pine wood, is carved very well has a lot of detail.particulary the 303 rifle. Is some rubbing where the existing varnish has come off, but giving it another coat will hide and do it wonders. Im not able to tell which Scottish Regiment it would represent, think it could be from the Transvaal Scottish Regiment. The carver has signed his work and dated it a Lloyd George 1968. He presented it to a RSM Gus Blume , all this penned on the bottom of the base. It does have some cracks and splintering but nothing very serious. A nice piece to display.
